To strengthen the global sales team, UgenTec is looking for an Ag-Bio Account Executive to expand market penetration within large enterprise agriculture companies.
You will be positioning a software solution to agrigenomics companies to save time, increase throughput, and improve accuracy on PCR-based workflows such as KASP genotyping & real-time PCR-based seed health testing.
UgenTec is a fast-growing, international software company specializing in developing diagnostic and workflow solutions for molecular laboratories and assay developers, and large scale genotyping companies in ag bio and veterinary markets.
Our software solutions are situated on the crossroads of molecular testing and informatics, building on deep domain knowledge, artificial intelligence, and SaaS principles.
As an Ag-Bio Account Executive :
The AG market brings unique challenges balancing an enterprise sale with the ability to cultivate new markets.
- experienced with sales in the agriculture Industry and/or Genotyping
- a hands-on salesperson with a strong focus and drive to push opportunities forward through the sales process
- tech-savvy, able to use and navigate lead gen and CRM tools for sales opportunity management
- not a stranger to software sales, able to position benefits of a software solution for lab automation
- previous experience in selling into the agriculture Industry
- familiar with complex sales, solution selling, or SaaS
- Willing to travel, both regionally and internationally, up to 30% of your time to attend trade shows, conferences, and meet with clients
